Meet your pin host
Hello, I am Francien Tersteeg and I am honored to be the host of Amsterdam pin Meeting, held every 2nd Thursday of the month.
I live in Amsterdam, and my husband and I have 3 amazing daughters. My background is in business administration & marketing. As a self-employed professional marketeer I have worked with many consumer goods companies. Every new assignment means full dedication and commitment, and each new environment or industry gives me energy. I love this work, although all and all, I ran a busy life.
When covid hit in 2020, everything stopped. My daily walks made me think about our future and important things in life. I wanted some changes. I started to listen to the Property Magic Podcast while walking, really enjoyed it and it all made sense. Now my goal is to replace our income with property.
Long story short, I searched for training, and surrounded myself with experienced property investors. The advantages of investing in UK property became clear to me, and so I bought my first buy-to-let property in 2021, and a few more followed.
During these initial property experiences, I became aware of two things.
First, “you don’t know what you don’t know” as Simon Zutshi always says. This year I am participating in the 12 month Property Mastermind Programme, being educated and coached, and surrounded by fellow UK investors, which is extremely valuable.
Second, it can be challenging to invest remotely. Therefore, a good network is key. While attending pin Meetings in different cities in the UK, I truly valued the environment of likeminded people where it’s all about sharing experiences, connection and support. I learn something new every time I attend a pin Meeting.
It is a privilege to host the Dutch pin Meeting in Amsterdam to create the same environment.
The pin team and guest speakers have such extensive knowledge of their professional fields, it’s very inspiring to meet and listen to them. Whether you are beginning your property journey or are an experienced investor the answer to any of your questions is in this room.
We welcome all newcomers and familiar faces. You will certainly take something away with you from our meetings, enjoy the power within the room.
